From Padua to Paris: Weeks of Momentum for Climate Smart Agriculture!
What intense and productive last weeks for the Geocledian team! Our CEO, Stefan Scherer, recently wrapped up two major stops on the European sustainability circuit: the European Carbon Farming Summit in Padua and the ChangeNOW summit in Paris.
Padua was all about financing carbon farming, increasing quality but also bringing cost down all at the same time. The conversations on MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) were highly relevant and the feedback on our Parcel Sustainability Passport (PSP) was very encouraging. It was also great to deepen relations with our IF-CSA consortium partner Sustainable AG presenting their “A Carbon Farming Feasibility Study” poster reminded us that strong collaboration is the backbone of real change.
Paris brought the focus to scaling solutions. Stefan successfully pitched the PSP to a global audience, and the reception was positive. Watch his presentation below. A key highlight was catching up with MyEasyFarm, also an important IF-CSA stakeholder. We discussed how integrating our tech into their platform can help turn complex satellite data into simple, actionable insights for farmers. We will be reporting on this in detail shortly – stay tuned! Additionally, our EUDR Check API generated interest among French users — many companies are actively looking for reliable, easy-to-integrate solutions to meet deforestation regulations.
