Help shape the future of Climate Smart Agriculture
User Consultation Event

Join us in Munich for a day of live platform demonstrations, expert input, and interactive discussions on how satellite-based information can support more sustainable and resilient agriculture.

The User Consultation Event is part of the ESA Information Factory: Climate Smart Agriculture project

Thursday, 22 October 2026
Dachwerk, Munich — Kolosseumstr. 1A

The ESA Information Factory: Climate Smart Agriculture is a project funded by the European Space Agency.

About the event

On 22 October 2026, we are hosting the first User Consultation Event for the ESA-funded Information Factory: Climate Smart Agriculture.
The event brings together stakeholders from across the agricultural ecosystem to explore the platform’s current capabilities and help shape its future development. Through live demonstrations, practical discussions, and interactive feedback sessions, participants will have the opportunity to share their experience and perspectives on usability, scalability, and future enhancements.
The event is designed for professionals working across agriculture, technology and services, research, regulation, and related fields.

Explore the platform use cases

The programme will feature live demonstrations and discussions around four platform use cases:

Agricultural field with futuristic digital overlays displaying soil moisture, nutrient levels, and crop health data for precision farming

Climate-Resilient Farming

Satellite-verified farming practices and monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) approaches to support more climate-resilient agricultural production.

Hands holding humus-rich soil

Carbon Farming

Soil carbon tracking and data-driven insights for carbon farming and environmental, social and governance (ESG) applications.
